BDZ PP SIEMENS Desiro 4-car EMU set No. 31 007/31 008 passes Zappenden Park (Western Park) in Sofia on 19th May 2023. Yes, you read that correctly. The main line from Pernik to Sofia Central passes right through the eastern side of the park which has numerous foot-crossings but no protective fencing. The unit is working BDZ train service SUB 50210 (18:00) Radomir to Sofia, soon to stop at the pen-ultimate station of Zaharna-fabrika.
