Luxembourgs LINE 50 was closed to all passenger traffic throughout the Easter break with various pockets of maintenance being carried out including here at Bertrange/Strassen. A through connection remained clear of the work area where we see RTS Siemens ER20 Class 2016 Diesel locomotive No. 905 gingerly making it's way past the encroaching road-bridge scaffolding, heading towards Luxembourg City. RTS (Rail Transport service GMBH) specialises in the movement of Track Construction Machines and construction site traffic. While driving past the station a chance sighting with quite literally seconds to spare to get this grab shot. CFL Vossloh DE18 303 is stabled on the blocked westbound main where it had been throughout the day on 8th April 2023.
