As is often the case on the S&C a somewhat changeable 15th September 2010 greets LMS Jubilee Class 4-6-0 No. 5690 Leander at the head of The Fellsman as it powers its way across Ais Gill Viaduct on the final mile to the summit. With a departure from Carlisle a little after 15:00, the return run to Lancaster would run via Hellifield, Blackburn and Preston making a fine sight indeed at this classic location on the Settle to Carlisle line.
