The Rhodope Valley narrow gauge railway follows main road R84 virtually all the way along it's route from Varvara to Razlog but it is at it's closest at Canton 'Milevi Rocks' as seen here on 17th June 2016. Henschel B-B No. 75006 heads southbound on early evening service No. Ord 16107 (16:50) Septemvri to Dobrinishte. Manually operated barriers have brought the southbound traffic to a stand where the railway crosses the main road and the Chepinksa River. Bulgarian drivers are not renowned for their patience behind the wheel!.
