Class 59/1 No. 59101 eases through the 15mph turnout into the loop on Hungerford Common with the daily 10:33 Merehead Quarry to Acton, running early today with an extra path inserted so that an HST power car can be returned from Laira to Old Oak Common. Once the stone train is safely into the loop, the slightly bizarre combination of No. 43028 with a newly refurbed No. 43079 in tow (inset) pass through on the main line on Tuesday 8th April 2014.
