Most railway photographers are aware that a telephoto lens changes perspective but on this occasion the effect is to change Voluyak yard into something resembling a locomotive dumping ground. This lunch time view taken on 18th October 2024 records locomotives of DB (Bulgaria), PIMK Rail and BDZ TP. PIMK Rail often leave a Class 07 Ludmilla at Voluyak, on this day 07-063 which is used to transfer incoming PIMK container workings to the nearby Bozhurishte Container Depot, the latter of course being non-electrified. BDZ Cargo always have a presence here, a location that is sure to produce a number of SKODA Class 43 freight-dedicated locos, three visible in this view taken from the road crossing that links the station to Voluyak village/town.
