Levski railway station is a product of the Soviet-era and not the most aesthetically pleasing to the eye it has to be said. But it is an important regional connection point for two separate branch lines radiating out to the north and south, Levski to Svishtov and Levski to Troyan. Situated on the main line from Sofia to Varna it provides connections both east and west. BDZ PP SIEMENS Smartron 80-052 'KING IVAN ASEN II' has arrived from Sofia-Sever (Sofia-North) with FAST service 2613 to Varna. DMU Set No. 10-007/10-008 waits to provide the connection to the four stations along the northern branch calling at Morava, Dragomirovo, Oresh and Svishtov. Image recorded at lunch time on a glorious 1st October 2024.
