End of the branch line from Levski, Svishtov on the southern banks of the mighty River Danube in northern Bulgaria is the location when recorded on 30th September 2024. Like many stations in Bulgaria Svishtov station is rather grand and ornate for branch line status. Not quite so grand is the BDZ PP SIEMENS Desiro DMU, Set No. 10-007/10-008 which has already been partially vandalised with unwanted spray paint. The unit has just arrived from Levski and will return as the SUB24281 service with a scheduled departure time of 18:25 in the pm. During this period the BDZ official on-line timetable stated that this service would be loco-hauled but sadly that proved not to be the case.
