The sun is low in the sky, the drivers sun blind in the lowered position and the late afternoon foreground shadows are beginning to appear on 3rd October 2024. BDZ Cargo Class 07 No. 07-048 is captured on departure from Svishtov with a consignment of locally manufactured concrete sleepers. Although relatively lightly loaded on this occasion the destination, initially, is Levski for onward transit further afield. These concrete sleeper consists are often formed within the as required mixed freight to Levski but on this day the loco ran L/E to Svishtov to collect the sleepers direct from the factory.
