At the end of the single track section from Builth Road, the driver of self-identifying two-car Class 120 Swindon cross-country DMU No. C602 (comprising W50649/98) based at Cardiff is exchanging tokens with the signalman at Llandrindod Wells box on 15th April 1981. on returning to his instruments he will able to set the route and clear the signals so that my southbound train can continue on its way.
