The early afternoon empties for Merehead Quarry have been working out of the yard at Wembley on occasions recently, rather then the DBC facility at Acton. On 17th January 2022, Class 59/2 No. 59206 is in charge of a short consist seen at the popular canal-side location east of Crofton, working easily up the gradient in brilliant light for mid-winter.
