Acquired by Colas earlier this year, Class 67 locos are top-and-tailing a NR track recording train coming to the end of an extended itinerary which has taken it from Paddington to Penzance, returning with a trip down to Paignton and up to Bristol Temple Meads before regaining the West of England main line at Taunton. No. 67023 'Stella' is leading crossing Hungerford Common in fading light, late in the evening of 30th June 2017. Fortunately the train is entering the loop and at a modest speed, permitting the use of an equally modest shutter speed in the gloomy conditions, in which No. 67027 'Charlotte' is lost to sight at the rear.
