Brilliant summer weather for the Reading Open Day on 1st June 1985 making a very popular family day out - but not so good for photographic records. Class 20/0 No. 20023 looks smart in its new Railfreight grey livery and Class 33/0 No. 33020 does its best in the previous rail blue. In spite of the roundel, this Class 20 does not appear to have joined the Society's preserved fleet.
