The cement works at Chinnor (closed in 1999) used to receive regular supplies of coal from Bolsover Colliery via the now preserved branch line from Princes Risborough. Class 31/1 No. 31256 is in charge of the loaded train on 29th April 1981 running on the main line through the interesting track layout at the one time junction station at High Wycombe, the line to Maidenhead of the original Wycombe Railway having closed in the late 1960s.
