Unlike the diverted empties from Oxford Banbury Road which has just travelled by, aggregates trains to the nearby HS2 Quainton Railhead have from the outset had to route via the old GWR Birmingham line through Princes Risborough. The lightly loaded service from Tytherington Quarry on 24th April 2023 is crossing Hungerford Common hauled by a smartly turned out Class 66/0 No. 66188 on its way to Reading and the Greenford link in West London.
