Class 66/5 No. 66550 drifts over the crossing at Hungerford with just the 2000 tonnes or so gross of aggregates from Whatley Quarry on 28th June 2022, destined for the stone Depot at Churchyard Sidings in N London. The high sun at midday during mid-summer produces contrasty images which here accentuate the textures in the sky, vegetation, stock and trackwork.
