Class 45/0 No. 45001 enters the famous seaside section of track between Teignmouth and Dawlish Warren on a bright and breezy Spring morning to the apparent appreciation of early holiday-makers on the promenade, well wrapped up against the chilly winds. The unhelpful 0000, routinely carried by now, in the headcode panel does not allow the identification of this express passenger working, probably originating at Paignton, on 23rd April 1976.
