With the last of its 43-wagon load of Mendip stone just leaving Hungerford, Class 59/0 No. 59002 is taking the Whatley Quarry to Dagenham Docks across the Lower Common on 3rd September 2021. Clearly the train is not signalled into the loop line just ahead by the way the dusty load is creating its own haze as it speeds its monster load smoothly through the green countryside, no longer showing signs of the recent lineside clearances.
