Class 66/5 No. 66509 brings the Whatley Quarry to Churchyard Sidings aggregates round the 75mph curve over Hungerford High St, threading its way between the tall buildings fronting the old coaching road, some of which had to be demolished to make way for the extension of the Berks & Hants route in the mid 19th Century. On 7th August 2020, the blistering heat is again affecting the track and the train is easing for a cautious approach to the running loop on the Common.
