Two IET express trains have been queuing up behind the Bedwyn to Paddington turbo DMU service operated by Class 165 No. 165101 which has now cleared the way at its Newbury stop on 8th March 2019. In very quick time Class 802 No. 802102 sweeps round the curve and flashes through with a Taunton - Paddington shuttle on the last day of the revised service needed during the closure of Whiteball tunnel between Taunton and Exeter. The IET is still running under diesel power but will reach the raise pantograph boards in the next few yards.
