Class 60 No. 60044 'Dowlow' shatters the peace and quiet of the Vale of White Horse as it hurries by with its long and noisy rake of discharged Murco tanks working back from Theale to the South Wales refinery on 18th July 2018. This rural location near Shrivenham has already been blighted by the arrival of electrification masts but traditional rural life continues with hay-making already completed in the recent blisteringly hot weather.
