A last hurrah for the fine old footbridge at Newbury spanning all four through lines and in this case GWR Class 166 DMU No. 166103 just setting out on its semi-fast journey from Bedwyn to London Paddington on 7th March 2018. The 'twin towers' of its electrification-ready replacement are already visible above the roofline and demolition cannot be far off now.
