Modestly adorned IEP No. 800 005 approaches Crofton on a Paddington - Tiverton Loop trial run with its diesel engines apparently taking the climb to Savernake comfortably in their stride on 2nd September 2017. The scene is viewed over the recently renovated parapet of the canal bridge which is still equipped with examples of WW2 tank traps, but not yet available for public use.
