Class 159/1 No. 159106 is at the head of this 6-car9/1) service from Exeter to Waterloo on the old L&SW main line at Andover on 21st March 2017. A mundane view of workaday DMUs lifted by the exceptional dappled lighting and the distant view of the junction station. Gone are the through lines and the branch to Andover Town and Southampton. The other section of the defunct M&SWJ railway, diverging behind the up platform, is still in situ to Ludgershall and is due to be visited by the Andover Fist railtour.
