The trackside trees are yet to burst into leaf so there is generous, if dappled, lighting to illuminate this Cathedrals Express travelling from London (West Brompton) to Gloucester. LMS 'Jubilee' class 4-6-0 No. 45699 'Galatea' is being eased for the curves through the platform line at Andover so there is little steam exhaust on show to complement the (nearly) uniform LMS red express train on this very cold and bright 21st March 2017.
