Little Bedwyn and, yes, the Kennet & Avon canal to the right with summer growth lining its banks, but neither of those great waterways to the left. The watershed is behind us at Savernake and the water in the Dun flows into the Kennet beyond Hungerford and eventually into the North Sea. Class 59/2 No. 59202, perched up on the causeway between the two, is forging its way up the valley with an Acton to Merehead empties on 16th August 2016.
