Award-winning Pewsey station on the Berks & Hants Extension line is starting to lose its original GWR flavour after recent repainting and with a new, much higher, electrification-ready footbridge in the process of replacing the previous riveted plate girder example. However the station buildings still remain - to shudder as power car No. 43028 with a Penzance HST thunders through at a three-figure speed on 4th December 2015.
