The mystery excursion shown on RTT as returning from Bath Spa to Hereford via Hungerford turned out to be a Northern Belle hauled by Class 47/7 No. 47790 'Galloway Princess' in what must be the most attractive of all the Class 47 liveries, with DRS Class 57 No. 57302 'Chad Varah' at the tail end on Saurday 20th September 2014. From the Berks & Hants line the circuitous return journey would continue via Didcot, Swindon, Sapperton and Gloucester.
