In challenging light from the low evening sun, SR 'Merchant Navy' Class No. 35028 'Clan Line' has slowed to 15mph to enter the loop line on Hungerford Common, long enough for the HST to Bristol TM to clear the view. After a late start from Bristol the British Pullman has been unable to keep ahead of the HST from Penzance which will shortly overtake it on Wed 14th May 2014.
