MLV Class 419 No. S68006 is in the lead of three SR 4-car EMU sets including 4CEP No. 411604 leaving Dover and about to enter the Gothic portal of the tunnel under Shakespeare Cliff on 5th March 1983. The MLVs were very versatile being able to run off the third rail, singly or in multiple with EMU stock, and from batteries to enable them to work in the docks at Dover and Folkestone.
