Spick and span Colas Class 70/8 No. 70816 is in charge of a weekend engineering train from Westbury en route to overnight work at Drayton Green on the Greenford branch, seen powering through Hungerford on 1st June 2024. At the other end of the scale, and the train, a very grimy classmate No. 70805 is fortunately out of sight round the 75mph curve through the station. The track under the lead units of the re-ballaster is visibly distorted by the heavy loads negotiating the curve, leading to some interesting ripple effects along the length of such long trains.
