Class 66/5 No. 66503 'RAILWAY MAGAZINE' is in charge of the 12:21 Wembley to Merehead Quarry empties approaching Crofton on the climb to Savernake summit on 9th June 2023. The vegetation on the recently cleared embankment is beginning to obstruct the view again and the reedbeds on the canal side of the boundary fence are beginning to invade this wide section of the Kennet and Avon after a prolific growing season.
