BDZ PP (Bulgarian State run Railway Passenger Division) Skoda Class 44 No. 44-195 pulls out of Lakatnik on 18th March 2023 with the northbound SUB 20203 13:35 departure from Sofia Central to Mezdra. The vehicle seen on the left of the image is parked in the station car park which is just a few steps across the running lines to the station building. It's also an ideal vantage point for railway photographers to observe and wait in comfort. And it's free of charge!.
