The tanker train returning to Robeston from Theale oil terminal has been banished from the GWR main line since the speeded-up winter timetable came into effect. It is doubled-headed here on the alternative Berks & Hants route after the previous day's Class 60 working failed to get back in time for the next turn. DBC Class 66/0 No. 66035 'Resourceful' leading classmate No. 66170, still in full EWS livery, are in charge of the replacement stock crossing Hungerford Common on 24th December 2019 - the choice of motive power possibly influenced by the importance of getting the stock back to base dependably before the Christmas shutdown.
