On another diversion day, IEP Class 800 No. 800018 is routed via the Berks & Hants line returning ECS to its North Pole Depot from Stoke Gifford on 24th March 2018. The train sweeps round a curve in a view which has recently been opened out by the felling of a tall stand of conifers which screened off the water treatment works from the more scenic aspects of Hungerford Common.
