Romanian-built Type LDH25 diesel-hydraulic Class 55 No. 55-098 gets to grips with some heavy shunting at Pirdop on 9th October 2023. Private operator Port Rail now hold the contract for such duties at this well known location on the Sub-Balkan main line. Active on this day were two examples of these venerable machines plus the heavyweight Russian-built Class 07 No. 07-070 captured in this scene waiting to join in with the action.
