Gorna Oryahovitsa in Central Bulgaria appears to be the centre of activity for the few remaining communist era Riga RVR Class 32 Electric Multiple Units still in service in 2023. Coming off shed on 7th September 2022, is set No. 32 128/32 127 in preparation to work an afternoon service to Ruse Razpredelitelna. Just visible on the far right-hand side of the image is sister EMU set No. 32 137/32 138 which has just arrived with the opposite direction service from Ruse and is waiting to go on shed. So what we see here is a straightforward set swap. A third example is also visible in the Depot beyond plus Class 07 heavy diesel 07 048, the latter waiting to exit following a visit to the diesel pumps.
