Network Rail Class 950 Track Assessment Unit No. 950001 heads west through Axminster station working (03:50) Derby RTC to Plymouth on 20th February 2023. The somewhat circuitous route via Bath and Westbury included a visit to Merehead Quarry before continuing west via Yeovil Pen Mill/Yeovil Junction on the former LSWR West of England line towards Exeter and eventually Plymouth.
