Class 47/0 No. 47119 heads west through Betchworth on the non-electrified Southern route from Ashford through Redhill and Dorking with empty mineral trucks on 21st July 1975. The signal box located in the main building next to the level crossing was an unusual feature here - more akin to German wayside stations.
