BDZ (Bulgarian State run Railway) Skoda Class 61 Bo-Bow electric shunter No. 61003 heads for the last stop on the route from Blagoevgrad to Sofia Central on 21st April 2017, while entrusted to train No. 0rd 50110, a mid-morning local stopping service. A shortage of main line motive power during 2017/2018 would see some passenger duties hauled by these very capable and it has to be said versatile Class 61 locomotives, 61003 being one of three noted out and about on these kind of duties. In the far right of the picture is the location of Zaharna fabrika station on the outskirts of Sofia from which the three coach train has just departed.
