One of six Class 86 locomotives to be exported to Bulgaria for service with BULMARKET is 86235 'Novelty', now reclassified as Class 85 to avoid confusion with Bulgaria's Danish built Class 86, seen here waiting for the road west at Slivnitsa on 25th March 2022. Still carrying it's former UK nameplate 85004 provides rear banking assistance to a Serbian bound freight working, BULMARKET's SIEMENS Smartron Class 80 No. 80029 providing the power at the front of the train. The Class 85 will be removed from the train at the Serbian border and return L/E to Sofia, Bulgaria's Capital City.
