BULMARKETs Siemens Smartron Class 80 No. 80029 double-heading with assistance from former UK Class 87 No. 87025 sweep through Slivnitsa Spirka on 22nd March 2022, running towards Sofia with an international west-east container working. Note the Bulgarian equivalent of Network Rails track workers standing back as the train speeds through. Unlike the UK track work is often carried out during the day time, sometimes closing down routes to both passenger and freight traffic all together for several hours at a time!.
