During 2012, Devon & Cornwall Railways (DCR) were contracted to operate a weekly scrap metal train from Shipley or Stockton to the Sims Metals recycling plant at Cardiff Tidal Yard. Here, the return empties are pictured on the 6th November 2012 heading on the long journey north to Stockon at Chepstow, with Class 56 No. 56311 in charge.
