Following maintenance to one of the GWR-liveried HST trailer car sets, heritage-liveried power cars were shunted on to the set at Laira. Passing Chepstow with the 1528 Swansea to London Paddington service, No. 43002 "Sir Kenneth Grange" leads No. 43185 "Great Western" clearly visible on the rear of the train. This train - and all South Wales HST services - are currently running via Chepstow and Stroud due to closure of the Severn Tunnel for 6 weeks due to electrification preparation.
