Pictured while sub-leased to First Great Western when that TOC was short of DMUs, this unidentifiedClass 142 has just arrived from Exmouth, trailing a Class 143 on a Barnstaple working. This unit transferred to Newton Heath Depot to work for Northern Rail following the cascade of Class 150/1s from London Midland
