Arriving at the former Cardiff Bute Road station, these days known as Cardiff Bay, is Class 121 No. 121032 which until 2012 was employed by Arriva Trains Wales to operate the high frequency Cardiff Queen St to Cardiff Bay shuttles, a journey of around 3 minutes. Following ongoing issues with the unit, it was replaced by a Class 153, which continues today
