1986 Santa Steam Pullmans - This service operated over two weekends before Christmas between Marylebone and High Wycombe using separate locos to handle the out and back journeys. LNER A3 Class No. 4472 'Flying Scotsman' departs wrong line from the down platform at Wycombe with the return service on Saturday 13th December 1986. Very evident are the staggered platforms at this station resulting from rebuilding in the early 20th century when the route was upgraded.
