Class 56 No. 56056 double-heading with classmate No. 56039 are unusually routed down the main line at Milley Bridge approaching Ruscombe with empties for the Mendip quarries on an unrecorded date in May 1986. The May (hawthorn) blossom is masking the identity of the wagons in this situation but best guess is yellow ARC stock returning to Whatley Quarry.
