Riga RVR EMU sets are still active in some areas of Bulgaria as we continue through 2024. LINE 2 between Gorna Oryahovitsa, Pleven and Mezdra is where a limited number of these units can still be observed. Set No. 32-128/32-127 is captured at Pleven on 15th March 2023 working BDZ PP train service ORD20132, the mid-day departure from Gorna Oryahovitsa to Mezdra. Just how much longer these classic units will continue in service is not clear so the message as always, 'get them while you can!'.
