The BDZ Cargo stabling point at Pirdop on 9th October 2023 plays host to three Electroputere Class 46 electrics, Nos. 46-028, 46-124 and 46-036. State-run BDZ Cargo now hold the contract for the copper-concentrate workings from/to Burgas and sulphric acid movements to/from Razdelna/Povelyanovo near Varna that were previously operated by BZK using the imported British Class 87 electric locos.
